Reorder, rotate, insert and delete pages
Updated October 21, 2026
Organize Pages shows every page of the document in a grid, so you can rearrange it.
Steps
- Open the PDF and choose Pages › Organize Pages (Ctrl+Shift+O).
- Select pages: click a page, Ctrl+click to add or remove one, or Shift+click to select a range. Select all selects every page.
- Drag the selected pages to where they should go.
- Use the toolbar at the top for the selected pages:
- the rotate buttons turn them a quarter turn
- Delete removes them
- Extract… copies them into a new PDF
- Reverse reverses their order (or the whole document’s)
- Replace… swaps them for pages from another file
- To add pages, choose Insert blank page, or pick a source in Insert from…: a file, the clipboard, a scanner or a web page. You can also drag a PDF from File Explorer into the grid.
- Use the Size slider to make the page pictures bigger or smaller.
- Choose Close, then File › Save (Ctrl+S).
Without Organize Pages
The Pages menu has the same commands for the page you’re on, such as Rotate Clockwise (Ctrl+Shift+]), Insert from File…, Split Document…, Crop Pages… and Delete Pages.
