Are the apps really free?
Yes. The desktop apps are free to download and use.
What's the difference between the cloud and desktop apps?
The cloud apps run in your browser and save files to your account. The desktop apps install on your computer, work offline and keep files on your computer.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one. It's how you download the desktop apps and hear about new versions, and the cloud apps will use it to keep your files. Sign in with Google, or create one with your email and a password.
Will my files open in other programs?
Yes. PDFs open in Acrobat, Preview, Chrome and Firefox, and Word opens the documents you save.
When can I start?
